Paul Newland
Joined Newland Bros. Construction in 1989 as a Junior Surveyor and became joint Managing Director of Newland Construction in 1997.
Paul’s passion outside of work is skiing – particularly ski touring which involves skinning up hill on skis to get away from the crowds – but also bump skiing and slalom racing.
Andrew Newland
Joined Newland Bros. Construction in 1992 as a Junior Surveyor and became joint Managing Director of Newland Construction in 1997.
Andrew is currently the Chair of governors at Stormont School in Hertfordshire.

Alan Curtis - Estimator
Alan started his career on site as a trainee foreman with a national contractor and then moved on to successful estimating, surveying and contract management roles with respected local construction companies. Alan joined us in 2003 and his wealth of experience has proved invaluable.
Kevin Moore - Senior Contracts Manager
A senior Contracts Manager, Kevin has over 35 years experience in high end refurbishment projects both of new and period residential and commercial properties.
We have appointed Kevin as our Mental Health Well Being Champion as he is well liked by all, approachable & sensitive. He attended a St Johns Ambulance course specific to Mental Health First Aid.
Peter Wilson- Senior Contracts Manager
Peter joined us as a Senior Contracts Manager. Peter has over 30 years experience within the Construction Industry, his expertise lies in large new build Residential properties, NHS work and schools.
Phil Frew Costa – Senior Quantity Surveyor
Phil is our newest member of the team and joined us in March 2018, he brings with him a vast knowledge of surveying and has been in the construction industry for over 14 years having worked his way up the field to eventually settle in the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor. Phil works closely with site teams and contracts managers and ensures accurate and timely costings and valuations; he also attends site meetings and liaises with the client.
Lynn Quarrington - Accounts & Office Manager
Lynn joined us in 2009 and has greatly improved our office systems, and her can do attitude is so refreshing. Lynn has over 40 years of Accounts & Office experience, 30 of these have been spent in Construction.
Mandy Timmins - Contract Administrator/Secretary
Mandy joined us back in 2018 and has over 20 years of experience in administration. Her sunny and friendly disposition is a great asset to the team.
Ian Venables - Site Agent
Ian is one of our many Site Agents and joined the company back in May 1980 and is our longest serving members of staff, he has been in a supervisory role on some of our biggest projects, he has always had an excellent rapport with the clients and they all speak very highly of him. Ian has completed his Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme, CSCS, First Aid at Work, Fire Awareness & Asbestos Awareness. Ian has extensive experience of new build and refurbishment projects and works closely with his contracts manager to bring the projects in on time and under budget.
